Communicate: Like I always say communication in every relationship is key, without communication that relationship won’t work. You need to let your partner know how you feel all the time, your partner is not a mind reader he/she won’t know how you feel or what you are going through if you don’t tell them, So let your feelings be known at all times.

  2. Great advice!
I’ve noticed the longer my husband and I have been together, the less we put an emphasis on date night.
I like that you only suggest a monthly date night (or anything that works for the couple). I’ve seen so many “once a week” date nights that I feel like we’re messing up by not making time for that.
Thank you so much for sharing!

  13. Stop assuming is such a big one for me. I used to constantly make assumptions in my relationship and often that was the cause of a lot of arguments. Once I started assuming less and communicating more, my relationship improved significantly.
